July 4 - Checked Fresh Tracks from south and west sides. Broom Snakeweed is dying in large areas. Noticed that prairie dogs are moving back into some areas near Fresh Tracks. Checked RRG from west side. No activity. Both places are very dry - grass is dry like winter.

July 10 - Drove through Fresh Tracks on road JJ. No activity.

July 13 - Checked RRG from south side. Still a little stagnant water in tire tank.

 

July 17 - Checked Fresh Tracks and RRG. Found cattle had wandered into RRG from several miles north. Checked brands, ascertained owners and drove cattle back. The cattle had got out of their pasture and, by the time they got to RRG, were hunting water. This if the reason you really need someone watching your places here. Oherwise, the cattle could stay there for some time.

 

In my travels today I saw 10 or 12 Pronghorns, Eagles, a Coyote and lots of Hawks and Ravens as well as many small birds.

July 20 - Checked RRG to make sure cattle had not returned. Finally got some rain.

July 22 - Checked Fresh Tracks. No rain there.

July 27 - Checked RRG - no activity but there is a little green showing.

July 29 - Checked Fresh Tracks - No activity
